Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

About the role

The CEO turns the company's strategy into a sustainable operation, leading overall management, financial discipline, day-to-day execution and business development. The aim is a technology company that wins business clients, delivers digital solutions with quality and builds profitable, recurring revenue, while keeping fixed costs under control.

What you will do

• Define and run the business plan and the operating plan for the first 12 months
• Choose priority market segments in Angola and match our services to what clients really need
• Set prices, minimum margins and approval rules for proposals and contracts
• Manage budget, cash flow, fixed costs and the use of resources
• Oversee the commercial, technical and operational teams, and the quality and profitability of projects
• Work with the Chief Commercial Officer to win clients and build partnerships
• Put management processes, performance indicators and monthly reporting in place
• Recruit, lead and develop the team as real demand grows

What we look for

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, with real leadership experience
• A track record of managing teams, budgets, revenue or business units
• Experience in technology, software, B2B services, consulting or digital transformation
• Knowledge of the Angolan business environment and the ability to negotiate with decision-makers
• Command of financial planning, cash management, cost control and profitability analysis
• Pragmatic leadership, decisiveness, executive communication and accountability for results
• A degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, IT or a related field
• Fluent Portuguese and professional English

Nice to have

• An MBA (a plus, not required)
• Knowledge of the IT ecosystem in the Angolan market
