Mobile Engineer

About the role

You would work with José, who leads technical strategy and delivery, on mobile apps for customers and for internal teams, each built around one clear job. You would take an app from the first screen to its release, and keep it working afterwards.

What you will do

• Design and build iOS and Android applications
• Connect apps to backends and to local payment and messaging services
• Test on real phones, including older ones, before every release
• Prepare releases, documentation and handover

What we look for

• Experience shipping mobile apps to the app stores
• Good judgement about performance on slow or unreliable connections
• Comfort directing and reviewing AI-assisted work
• Clear communication in Portuguese or English; both is a plus

Nice to have

• Experience with both native and cross-platform tools
• Experience with apps that work with little data or offline
• An interest in building products
