Care: maintenance and ongoing improvement
Maintenance and ongoing improvement for agreed solutions, through a support arrangement set up in advance. Care keeps a delivered solution working and gradually better; it is separate from a new build.
Good fit when a solution is live and you want it looked after under clear terms, instead of fixing things as they break.

How Care works
Draft wording: for the team to review.
Agreed in advance
Care is agreed in advance for a specific solution. It is not automatic with every build, and its terms are set for each arrangement.
Defects fixed
Maintenance keeps an agreed solution working: we investigate and correct defects within scope.
Updates
Planned updates and improvements keep it useful, and we review the dependencies it relies on.
A clear route
Requests come through a clear contact route, and changes are prioritised and approved with you before work starts.
Not new features
Maintenance is different from new features or a redesign. Larger changes are scoped separately.
What it covers
Care covers solutions we have built or assessed. It does not extend to every third-party system a solution connects to.
Questions about this service
What is the difference between Care and a new project?
Care keeps an existing solution working and gradually better. New features, a redesign or a new build are scoped separately.
Is Care included with every build?
No. It is available through an agreed support arrangement, set up for each solution.
Can you look after a solution you did not build?
Possibly, once we have assessed it. We do not take on support for a solution we have not assessed.
How is Care priced, and how fast do you respond?
The terms, including scope, contact route and how requests are prioritised, are agreed in writing for each arrangement.
Have something to build?
Tell us about it. We will tell you honestly how we would approach it.
